Pre-Takeoff
1. How are your websites developed?Every website is built using the open-source and widely popular WordPress content management system.
WordPress is a notable favorite among industry professionals and big brands alike, and currently powers a large portion of the Internet. At Alynt, it’s the preferred tool as it allows you, the customer, to easily manage your website.
If you have an existing website and would like to move to the full-service platform, reach out and I’ll work with you to find the right solution.
You should be interested in migrating, revamping, or upgrading your current website. I’ll rebuild your site on the WordPress content management system.
In plain English, your new website will be user-friendly to manage and built with quality, security, and performance in mind.
If you don’t have text content yet, you have three options:
You can (1) create the content yourself, (2) hire an established copywriting agency or freelance copywriter who will take the time to understand your business and develop the site content accordingly, or (3) work with me to produce the content for you.
Before hiring a third party, consider reading these articles:

You can find copywriters and content creators at:
I can create or source custom graphics for your project, or you can obtain them from a third party.
You get a hands-free experience, freeing you to focus on the production and marketing side of your business, while I manage the technical details like:
- security and uptime monitoring
- maintenance and software updates
- performance-tuning
Technical bugs or errors? I’ll handle them. If third parties need to be contacted, I’ll do the hunting down, emailing and phone calling. You just worry about your business and getting a good night’s rest.
There are no cPanel, phpMyAdmin or similar control systems on the managed servers.
The advantage of the full-service platform is that you don’t need to use these resource-intensive systems at all.
The tasks most people use cPanel for are already handled for you by the time your website launches.
Not having these systems installed means less security overhead and helps keep each hosting server lean and efficient.
All you need to do is let me know what needs to be done and carry on with your day while I handle it.
Out of best practice and for security reasons, email accounts are not hosted here.
I always recommend hosting your email with a separate company that specializes in email hosting specifically, rather than with your website host. This approach saves you unnecessary hassle and complexity.
I personally use and recommend Migadu.com, a straightforward email system that handles business needs well.
Each client receives a complimentary offer to have their Migadu email account set up and configured for their business.
General
1. Can I manage the content on my website?Absolutely. Alynt’s platform gives you a custom and user-friendly dashboard that you can log into and begin managing different parts of your site, including uploading files like images and documents.
You will easily be able to change the text and graphics on most pages as well as create and publish blog posts/articles and other types of content.
The key here, is that I’m standing by to handle the sensitive parts of your site so you don’t have to concern yourself with that.
Absolutely. And I take the importance of backups very seriously.
All websites on the full-service platform are protected by four layers of daily automated data backups:
- complete local backups of each individual website on the server (offloaded to Amazon S3 cloud storage)
- Duplicator backup packages (offloaded to Amazon S3 cloud storage)
- third party backup service with quick restore functionality (offloaded to Amazon S3 cloud storage)
- backup restoration points of each entire hosting server for last resort system-wide rollbacks
This creates four independent points of data restoring and retrieval in case something goes wrong. Depending on the nature of your site, I maintain between 30-120 (or more) days of backups.
